I have found a way to blend both my love for patient care and engineering by developing devices which make surgery safer and more efficient. Finding ways to decrease surgical risk and recovery time for the patient has been hugely satisfying in my career.

Get to Know Me
I travel around the world to teach laparoscopic surgical skills to physicians. I also used my surgical expertise to assist in the development of the INSORB Absorbable Subcuticular Skin Staples and Invented the PneumoLiner Tissue Containment Device. In 2021 the FDA recognized the surgical safety it provides and introduced a requirement to use the PneumoLiner in certain types of hysterectomy.
When Not at Work
I live in Minneapolis with my wife. I am an inventor with several patents. Outside of work we enjoy spending time with four adult children and granddaughter.
