Get to Know Me
I grew up in Minnesota and then attended college and medical school in Texas. After returning to Minnesota for my OBGYN residency, I knew that Maternal-Fetal Medicine was the subspecialty for me. It combines my passion for fetal diagnosis and treatment with complex maternal medical conditions. While it is never easy to deliver an unexpected diagnosis, sharing the news with compassion, empathy, and hope is an incredible honor.
I see patients for maternal high-risk conditions such as cervical insufficiency, diabetes, high blood pressure as well as for fetal conditions like multiples, growth disorders or birth defects. My specialties include autoimmune disease complicating pregnancy, periviability, fetal growth restriction and fetal anomalies.
When Not at Work
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. I enjoy traveling and visiting unfamiliar places, hiking in our beautiful National parks, and reading historical fiction novels.
