Get to Know Me

I grew up in Central Minnesota. I was selected for a summer internship in my junior year of college where I was first introduced to the labor and delivery unit. I moved down to the cities after graduation where I worked at Fairview Southdale for 5 years in the birthplace.

During my time as an RN while receiving my masters, I found a great interest in becoming an advocate in women’s health, understanding the complexities of the numerous physical adaptations during the prenatal/postnatal period, and educating women surrounding their reproductive health.

It is my top priority that women feel like they are the active decision makers in their care while educating them on the most up to date research and recommendations to fit their individualized needs.

My special interests in women’s health include contraceptive care, PCOS, infertility, obstetrics, and menopause.

When Not at Work

Outside of work, I live in the twin cities with my husband and Aussiedoodle, Rocky.  During the summer months is when I am most active– trail running, camping on the north shore, and visiting the  National Parks. You can often find me trying new local restaurants and listening to live artists that come to town.
