I wanted to join this practice because the providers have a strong reputation for giving compassionate, high-quality care. Our practice consists of a small group of providers who work well together as a team.
I was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and grew up in Maplewood, Minnesota. As a young person, I was always fascinated by the human body and used to study my mother’s anatomy book as a child. I have a special interest in ultrasound and pregnancy care. In fact, while in college, I spent time assisting with a prenatal fitness class, where my role involved listening to fetal heart rates. That experience helped to form my interest in obstetrics. I believe that compassion and good listening skills help us to best care for women.
What I enjoy most about being an OBGYN physician is the opportunity to care for women over the long term.
When Not at Work
I live in St. Paul with my husband and two children (and one loveable labrador)! I consider myself a lifelong learner, and enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, skiing, playing piano, experiencing live music of many types; and most of all, spending time with my family.
