Get to Know Me
I grew up in La Crosse, WI in a large, close-knit family of ten children. I moved to Minnesota to go to St. Ben’s for college and then spent time at St. Mary’s in Rochester doing bedside nursing.
Before going on to graduate school, I quit my nursing job and moved to Mozambique Africa to volunteer with a mother and baby outreach program. That is where I discovered my passion for women’s health. I returned to MN and completed my graduate education at the University of Minnesota as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
I was drawn to OGI as a practice because of the variety in specialties. I have been in OGI for over 20 years and have had patients that I have followed through their fertility journey, cared for them during their pregnancy and am currently helping them manage their menopause symptoms. I also have the pleasure of now providing care for some of their daughters.
When Not at Work
I live in Apple Valley and spend a lot of time in Wisconsin visiting with my family (and cheering on the Packers). I am an avid traveler and am always either on a trip or planning a trip.
I enjoy the outdoors, particularly hiking and camping. I love to read and watching anything on Bravo.
