Get connected to the health care information and services you need to make your health care decisions. Gender affirmation can take many forms, and it typically starts with more questions than answers. An OBGYN perspective can sometimes be helpful to inform you of future care decisions, as well as, provide medical support for wellness even after transitions. Talk to a doctor about your concerns and options to better understand how to support your body and to get referrals into extended comprehensive, expert care.

For trans and nonbinary patients, menstrual suppression can support gender comfort and reduce dysphoria. Options include hormonal IUDs, birth control pills, injections, or implants. Care is collaborative so we discuss what works best for your body and identity, and adjust over time based on goals and comfort.
Endometrial ablation is a procedure that reduces or stops menstrual bleeding by removing the uterine lining. It’s often considered for those who don’t respond well to hormonal suppression or want a long-term solution without a hysterectomy. It’s safe, effective, and tailored to each person’s anatomy and needs.

For patients seeking surgical affirmation, a hysterectomy — the removal of the uterus and/or ovaries- may be part of a gender care plan. We provide education on risks, recovery, and fertility considerations. The decision is yours, and our role is to support it with clarity, compassion, and expert care.

Gender-affirming care includes mental health support. Whether navigating dysphoria, family dynamics, or transitions, talking to someone who understands makes a difference. We connect you with affirming therapists and provide a safe space to process emotions, identities, and goals, because your mental health is just as important as your physical well-being.

Before gender-affirming surgery, specific evaluations may be required, including lab work, imaging, and provider letters. We guide you through the pre-op process, ensuring you feel informed and ready. It’s not just paperwork but also a step in honoring your safety and advocating for your readiness.

Whether you’re looking for hormone therapy, surgery, vocal coaching, or legal resources, we connect you with trusted providers in the community. Referrals are made with care and intention, ensuring that every next step on your journey is supported by professionals who affirm and respect your identity.
