Growing up as a hockey player in Minnesota, I thrived as a member of a committed and driven team. I was drawn to Obstetrics and Gynecology because I recognized the team mentality in every facet of the specialty, from the clinic to the delivery room. I love leading a team of committed health professionals to guide and empower women through some of the most joyous and intense moments of their lives. I also pride myself on fostering strong relationships with my patients, and find it rewarding to care for them from adolescence through menopause. My special interests include adolescent health, contraception, pregnancy care, and minimally invasive surgery.

During residency, I developed a curriculum that trained resident physicians to provide high quality informed consent and engage in shared decision-making with patients.
