Breastfeeding may be normal and natural, but it is not always simple and straightforward. It takes time, patience, and practice. It should be coached in a gentle and loving way without judgment or pressure.

Get to Know Me
I have a passion for breastfeeding advocacy without being assertive or aggressive. I started my career in a local hospital on a step-down unit but once pregnant, promptly switched gears. I have been a nurse on a postpartum unit and newborn nursery, lead lactation consultant in the hospital, triage nurse at the clinic, and am excited to have the opportunity to provide lactation services in the clinic setting.
When Not at Work
I do enjoy other things too, but my hobbies are currently my three kids and their activities. We have one in college playing club hockey, one in girls golf and a hockey manager, and one in travel soccer and hockey. So free time might be a misnomer. We also have two large furry dogs that love us the most when we take them to the cabin. I hate cleaning but love things clean, don’t follow recipes but love to cook, and hate being late but love to press snooze.
